We drove the south side of the island to the east end, very pretty, very good drive, especialy the last 7 or 8 miles to the end of the road at Halawa Bay, which winds along the ocean on the cliffs on a lane and a half.

We passed by fishponds (see tomorrow), Kumimi beach, a church built by Saint Damien,

and the first christian church built on Molokai in 1835.

We have a tour on a boat around the east end of the island.  The meeting place is Eddie Tanaka's house, found by the bottles on the wall.  Eddie is a singer, and does some tours as well.  And watch out for the chickens in the road.
