Tue, Nov 5: Drive to Waikolu lookout

In order to get to Waikolu lookout, you drive by a cemetary.  Hawaiians love pork so much, that lore has it, substantiated by ancedotes, that if you drive by the cemetary with pork in your car, the ghosts will come out of the graves.

We drove on a fairly decent dirt road for 10 miles, 45 minutes, to the Waikolu lookout.
